Bruce Stein, President

Bruce has over 30 years of broad-based experience across many sectors of real estate – hotels, retail, mixed-use, office, multifamily, industrial, and single-family residential real estate. Bruce's areas of expertise include all phases of real estate - from acquisition and underwriting; through entitlement and planning; to asset management and disposition. Bruce has a proven track record of exponentially increasing profitability of an organization and real estate holdings. He has an exceptional career production - managed commercial real estate portfolios in excess of $850M, managed brokerage transactions (buy and sell) in excess of $1.0B, executed financings in excess of $1.2B, raised over $300M in equity and negotiated over $150M in troubled loans.

From 2012 through July 2022, Bruce worked for two large private debt funds - Genesis Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, and Partners Capital Solutions. Bruce ensured the efficiency and integrity in all transactional processes, including loan origination, underwriting, due diligence and relationship management.

From 1996 through 2010, Bruce held multiple positions at Shamrock Capital Advisors, the private investment vehicle of the Roy E. Disney Family.

From 2005 through 2010, as Managing Director, Bruce raised and managed a $100M fund that made leveraged investments in full-service and limited-service hotels in the top markets in the U.S. Bruce was co-manager of the Genesis LA Real Estate Fund 1, an $85 million fund, and Genesis LA Real Estate Fund 2, a $100 million fund, that provided mezzanine financing and preferred equity to projects located in low to moderate income areas of Southern California.

In July 2001, Bruce was appointed as a Director of American Landmark Homes in order to restructure a Shamrock portfolio company. ALH was a regional home builder of entry level and move-up homes and annually delivered over 1,300 homes, generating $187M in revenue and $19M in EBITDA per year.

From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Stein was Shamrock’s Director of Real Estate. When originally hired, his assignment was to orchestrate the development, construction, leasing, management, and the ultimate disposition of the following $100M projects:

1. West Hills Corporate Village, a 590,000 square foot, first-class multi-tenant corporate office park.

2. Manhattan Beach Studios, a state-of-the-art, full-service studio complex comprised of 14 soundstages, nearly 300,000 square feet of office and support space, as well as structured and surface parking.

3. Toscana Village, a 480 unit single family, detached adult active residential master-planned community in Sparks, NV.

Major consulting clients included Catellus Development Corp. and The Forecast Group.

Mr. Stein earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan and a Master of Arts degree at California State University, Northridge, California. Mr. Stein is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
